Brothers Osborne and Cody Johnson have released a new duet titled "Born and Raised Hell." The track serves as the primary single from the band's latest studio album, which dropped on October 23.
The album, titled Watertown, contains 11 songs. John and TJ Osborne described the record as a return to their origins in Deale, Maryland. The music reflects their upbringing and the specific experiences that shaped their early lives.
This is not the first collaboration between the groups. Brothers Osborne appeared on Johnson's album Banks of the Trinity earlier this year. That project included the song "Fool Proof," making the new release a reunion for the artists.
John Osborne, Lee Miller, and Kendell Marvel wrote "Born and Raised Hell." The lyrics focus on hometown pride and the memories of growing up. The accompanying music video was directed by Nick Swift and filmed in Nashville. It features a vintage aesthetic, showing the three performers in a garage and depicting scenes of youthful adventures.
Country radio stations will begin playing the single on November 2. Fans can currently stream the song and view the official video online.
