AEG Presents will host 11 concerts at Moonline, a 1,500-capacity venue in Austin, beginning in February 2027. The new venue occupies the space formerly used by Emo's, which is relocating back to downtown Austin after more than 30 years.
The calendar spans five months, featuring artists from diverse genres including emo, hardcore, pop, and hip-hop. The first scheduled date is February 13, when the Talking Heads tribute band HeartByrne will perform. Bad Suns, an alternative rock band from Los Angeles, is set to play on February 17, followed by pop singer-songwriter Chelsea Cutler on February 26.
Spring programming includes a performance by British progressive metal band Haken on March 4. Chicago indie rock band Beach Bunny is slated for March 6, while metalcore group Currents will appear on March 12. New Jersey band Saves the Day is scheduled for March 24, and New York hardcore group Gorilla Biscuits will perform with Terror on March 31.
Houston rapper Paul Wall is set to play on April 2. The calendar concludes the initial slate with the vintage-style covers collective Postmodern Jukebox on May 22 and indie rock singer-songwriter Blondshell on May 26.
Robin Phillips, Southwest Region VP at AEG Presents, stated in a release that the lineup reflects the venue's design goals. "This first run of shows is exactly what we wanted Moonline to be: a room where a hardcore show, a pop show and a Houston rap show all feel at home in the same month," Phillips said. Phillips added that Austin has historically supported diverse musical styles, and the company built the calendar to mirror that history.
Artist presales for most dates begin on Thursday, October 29. General public sales start at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 30, via moonlineaustin.com. Beach Bunny is the exception to this schedule, with presales starting on Thursday, November 12, and public sales on Friday, November 13.
Moonline is an existing space undergoing renovations to its sound system, green rooms, and backstage areas. It operates as a separate business from United Heritage Hall, a new 4,000-capacity venue located one mile away. While United Heritage Hall targets larger mainstream acts, Moonline will focus on alternative touring artists.
