The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday night, ending a two-game losing streak and moving their record to 3-4. Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes in the win. The victory keeps Dallas tied with the New York Giants in the NFC East standings. The Giants hold a 4-2-1 record.

The Cowboys entered the game under scrutiny. They had lost their previous two contests, scoring only 29 points in those games. Prescott threw four interceptions during that stretch. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer faced questions about his playcalling. He had recently called himself an elite playcaller on a radio show. His record with the team was 9-13-1 before Monday's game.

Schottenheimer appeared reserved in postgame interviews. He told reporters the team simply played well. He noted that the players were hungry. Prescott observed that Schottenheimer seemed irritated by the external criticism. Prescott said the team supports the coach and that he takes pride in his job.

The Cowboys' rushing attack provided a key boost. Javonte Williams ran for a career-high 155 yards on 25 carries. He scored the final touchdown of the game from two yards out with 2:21 remaining. This marked the first time since 1983 that Dallas recorded over 200 rushing yards and 200 passing yards against Philadelphia.

Prescott completed passes for touchdowns to CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. The defense forced one interception of Tanner McKee and recorded two sacks. Quinnen Williams and Donovan Ezeiruaku brought down the Eagles quarterback. The Cowboys allowed touchdowns on the Eagles' opening drives in both halves.

Javonte Williams said the team did not play perfectly but valued the win. The Cowboys have not won consecutive games since a three-game streak last year. Their next opponent is the 2-5 Arizona Cardinals. That game is scheduled for next Sunday at AT&T Stadium.

ESPN Analytics calculated a 57% probability for the Cowboys to win the NFC East division. Schottenheimer stated the result puts the team back in contention for the title.
