The K Club, a Metro area nonprofit, has set a target of 1,000 handmade cards for Thunder star Jalen Williams.

The organization is asking fans to write personal messages that Williams can read while he recovers from his injuries. "We want to collect 1000 cards for J Dub so that anytime he's discouraged, he can open a card from a fan who is wishing him well," the group stated on its Facebook page.

Williams sustained a fractured fibula and a dislocation in his left leg during the team's victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. Thunder general manager Sam Presti confirmed on Monday that the player requires surgery. Cason Wallace is also currently recovering from an injury, and the K Club includes him in its outreach effort.

The organization is inviting fans of all ages to create cards and distribute information about the campaign. Participants can find submission details on the K Club's social media channels.

The initiative aims to provide tangible support for the players as they undergo their medical treatments and rehabilitation.
